The engineering legends behind Australia’s most iconic Holden Special Vehicles (HSV) muscle cars are turning up the heat. Walkinshaw Performance has officially taken the wraps off its highly anticipated supercharger package for the newly introduced GMC Yukon Denali.
This package transforms GM’s massive, American-sourced family hauler into a genuine V8-growling powerhouse, specifically tailored for Australian enthusiast demands.
At the core of the upgrade is a Harrop-designed TVS2650 positive displacement supercharger, running roughly 8psi of boost through advanced water-to-air intercoolers. Walkinshaw’s drivetrain team spent rigorous hours validating the setup to original equipment manufacturer (OEM) standards ensuring smooth, daily driveability, low noise/vibrations and seamless integration with the Yukon’s factory electronics and safety systems.
The performance jump, measured directly at the driven hubs, is massive:
| Metric | Stock 6.2L V8 (Hub) | Walkinshaw Supercharged (Hub) | Pure Gain |
| Power | 260 kW (350 hp) | 373 kW (500 hp) | +113 kW (150 hp) |
| Torque | 525 Nm | 713 Nm | +188 Nm |
(Note: Standard flywheel engine outputs sit at 313kW and 624Nm).
To match the supercharger’s immense grunt, Walkinshaw is offering optional supporting upgrades:
- Cat-Back Exhaust ($3,995 RRP): Constructed from 409 stainless steel in a single 3-inch into twin 2.5-inch layout, engineered to bring out a deeper, more aggressive V8 rumble under load.
- Brake Upgrade ($5,995 RRP): Heavy-duty Chevrolet Performance front brake kit featuring six-piston Brembo calipers and hardened rotors, delivering a 22% increase in rotor area and an 89% bump in brake pad area to halt the heavy-duty SUV.

Pricing & Local Availability
The standalone Walkinshaw Performance supercharger kit starts at $21,990 AUD (excluding fitment). If you tick every box on the menu combining the supercharger, exhaust and brakes the total package pricing sits at $31,980.
Keep in mind, these upgrades are strictly compatible with MY25+ Yukon Denali models officially converted to right-hand drive by the Walkinshaw Group for General Motors Specialty Vehicles (GMSV). Aussie owners can have the kit supplied and fitted through Walkinshaw’s network of 36 authorized retailers nationwide.
